To say that I enjoyed documenting Jacy and Nick’s wedding is an understatement. They both are truly fun loving people. I started the day with Jacy, who was very calm and collected. It’s not uncommon that I arrive to a bridal suite to find chaos, but not here. I could immediately tell that the day would go smoothly, and it did!
The ceremony was held at the Maple Street Chapel in Lombard. It was touching and sweet. When the ceremony ended, Nick rang the chapel’s bell, which was the cherry on top. We then proceeded to the Mayslake Peabody Estate in Oak Brook for a newlywed portrait session. We created some beautiful images and the two of them were so fun to work with.
The reception was at The Drake Oak Brook, which was decorated beautifully. Everything turned out so amazing and it was a memorable celebration to say the least. The dance floor stayed full and the party was still going when it was my time to leave. I loved photographing this wedding and it’s couple’s like Jacy and Nick that make my job the absolute best! Congrats you two!!!
